Sales Assistant/Traffic Director

Clear Channel Media + Entertainment in North Canton, Ohio is looking for an experienced and dynamic Sales Assistant and back-up Traffic Director for its team. The Sales Assistant will support Account Executives in all areas of the sales process. Duties include research, proposal preparation, and order and copy entry. This area of responsibility requires excellent computer skills with a strong understanding of Microsoft’s Office Suite. Experience with graphic arts software is preferred. As part of the Traffic team, you will be responsible for configuring, monitoring, analyzing, and optimizing our station's commercial logs. Specific responsibilities - Direct support to all Account Executives - Proposal preparation, order and copy entry - Research customer and sales issues as directed - Back-up to receptionist - Traffic and manage terrestrial and stream logs, review/approve new orders, process order revisions, and handle weekly other various commercial-related duties. - Perform daily sell out analysis and inventory optimizations. - Generate daily commercial logs and distribute necessary inventory and ad campaign reports. - Liaise with sales, account management, production, and business management teams on all issues relating to campaign delivery/performance, commercial spots and order entry.
Strong time management and organizational skills - Must be detail oriented. - Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office 2007 - Graphics software experience preferred. - Previous sales office or traffic experience preferred - Strong analytical and problem solving skills. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Ability to work independently and with a team in a fast paced, rapidly-changing environment
Associates degree preferred
